Surfers Environmental Alliance's 4th Annual:

SEAPADDLE NYC & THE WHITE WATER EVENING FOR AUTISM

Will take place on August 13th 2010. This 4th annual event will act as the fundraiser to raise money and awareness for Autism and SEA’s environmental causes. 

AUGUST 13th EVENTS INCLUDE:

1) Paddle Around NYC

2) Elite SeaPaddle Race

3) Ultimate Beach Party
    (3pm - 12am)

4) White Water Evening

Sea’s 4th Annual Paddle around New York City will be an exciting, all-day event that boasts everyday athletes, celebrities and professional surfers participating in a 28-mile journey around the most famous city in the world!  
While the endurance of the participants and sheer sight of the paddlers is more than impressive, SEA Paddle NYC’s mission is to provide much-needed support for important causes in the world of autism and environmental activism!  
The 4th Annual Paddle promises to be the largest most action-packed paddle in the United States.

ELITE RACE: (9:30am)
Sea’s inaugural Elite Paddle will take place simultaneously during the 4th Annual SEA Paddle NYC.  The challenging race promises to test participants’ endurance as they paddle to see who will be victorious in this first-ever competition.  Athletes from around the globe will gather to compete for bragging rights in this prestigious race around the awe-inspiring island of Manhattan.

ULTIMATE BEACH PARTY:  (3:00pm - 12:00am)
Held at South Street Seaport’s Water Taxi Beach for elite beach bums that just want to hang out, drink beer, listen to music and watch all the athletes drag themselves out of the East River, this event is for you. No need to paddle, sweat or stress out. Just hang back and enjoy the spectacle. Who knows... maybe you'll even get interviewed by the press. This event will also cater to participants and support staff allowing everyone time to refuel with liquids, food and a shower while prepping everyone to take the party to the next level with the White Water Evening.


Includes live music, happy hour cocktails and beer, and all around great time.  More Details Here

WHITE WATER EVENING:   (6:00pm  – 12:00am)
The White Water Evening held on the third floor of the South Street Seaport viewing decks, and catered by the famous Harbour Lights restaurant also on premises, starts at 6:00 p.m. cocktail hour, guests are encouraged to wear all-white as they revel in awe viewing the Brooklyn Bridge, lower Manhattan and the East River. The WWE will include an Award ceremony, silent auction featuring some truly unique one of a kind items, live music, great food and most importantly OPEN BAR. CHARITY POKER BENEFIT:  (8:00pm - 12:00am)
This charity poker event will be held at the Harbour Lights restaurant. SeaPaddleNYC will split all proceeds with the Sunflower Children Charity. Attendees of this premier event will enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, and poker playing. VIP guests will also receive a free pass to our ‘Ultimate Beach Party’ and ‘White Water Evening Gala’.  More Details Here
